We all know there is no rulebook on how to raise a child because all children are unique & special In their own way.
    However,
I am positive this book will be a good read if you are preparing yourself(because I definitely am) to raise your child in a way that will promote emotional intelligence so the child can better regulate their emotional thought processes and behavior in real time before reacting inappropriately. Or if they maybe react out of place, or maybe sometimes just not reacting in the most progressive way. Because in those confusing situations, tricky moments, or in a new unfamiliar territory when confronted with a dilemma the child will be more comfortable & familiar in a way to express themselves with a level headed mindset that Hey…you never know will shape their future for the better. :)

If you’re a Parent, Grandparent, Teacher, Home-based Provider or Developmental Specialist who has or works with children the book will help immensely with informative knowledge that assists you on how-to go about certain situations that may have you compelled to reinforce certain advanced emotional/communication skills for the betterment of the child & of course YOU too. The book also gives you satisfying tips & tricks for different instances & predicaments that can result in better dialogue exchange & outcomes with the children in a way that encourages healthy positive relationships to avoid miscommunication & wink wink wink the power to dismantle generational trauma because we KNOWWW passed down trauma is very evident in society today. So I

As an early childhood educator from the 80s, I only wish this book was part of my curriculum. I am currently using it as a guide to help with my grandchildren. The authors should be hailed in their research and techniques. Every word makes sense. The examples are easy to understand, and I have been able to implement successfully with my grandson.
Issues like separation, death, divorce, birth are also touched upon.
The author stresses that perfection is not the goal and we may need to repeat, but once we get it, the long-term results are invaluable. I have already purchased three copies of this to give to family and friends.
This should be required reading in every facility that deals with young children

I haven’t finished this book yet, but I felt compelled to leave a review because it has already impacted me so deeply. Tiny Humans, Big Tantrums meets you right where you are as a parent — gently, honestly, and without judgment.

While initially I thought it was about children, the beginning really encourages you to look inward as a parent. It reminds you to pause, breathe, and give yourself grace. The perspective is incredibly relatable and kind, and it makes you feel seen and heard rather than criticized. As a parent to a 4-year-old and a 7-year-old, this book has helped me reflect on areas I want to grow in while reminding me that parents aren’t perfect — and that’s okay.

So far, this book has been beautiful, grounding, and reassuring. I highly recommend it to other parents. I’ll be back to update once I finish it, but I can already say it’s something special.

I LOVE THIS BOOK! As a retired elementary school principal and a mom... I wish I had this book during my years as a principal and a mom. So many good gems in this book. It takes things to the next level in what to do next when your little one is in the midst of that tantrum. How to move through it and out of it. And then what. How to avoid it next time. How to teach your little one tools for dealing with disappointment. Let's face it... Life is all about dealing with disappointment. It is what we do with that disappointment and how we get through it. Lemons into Lemonade... This is a Must Read and then Must Do kind of book!
